To the relief of those who work in the area, though, the Hyatt Place's rooftop CityBar officially opened on June 23, with a daily happy hour and fantastic views.
CityBar: The Hyatt Place Washington D.C./National Mall, which opened earlier this year at 400 E St. SW, has added his own rooftop venue called CityBar. The bar and restaurant will feature craft cocktails, beer cocktails and a small menu of food including ceviche, deviled eggs and grilled fish tacos. The bar will be open daily from 4 p.m. to midnight and offers views of both the National Mall and Potomac River
